At Northwest Sand & Gravel we are proud to produce our own organic topsoil and compost.
Our Garden Mix is made by combining compost, sandy loam and aged chicken manure. This combination is then fine screened to produce excellent weed free topsoil with the mineralization and nutrients needed for good plant growth.
Our Summit Mulch is organic and consists of hemlock / fir bark and sawdust decomposed over many years. This aged compost is then fine screened to provide a black, nutrient rich, compost.
Our Red Fine Bark is a beautiful dark red color, perfect to accent any landscape.
Our Crushed Rock is known for its durability and hardness. Sizes include:
5/8" minus
5/8" clean chips
1 1/4" minus
2" minus
2" clean chips (railroad ballast)
2"-4" quarry spalls
Other gradation available upon request.
Our Washed Drain Rock primarily used for french drains, septic systems and drain fields, can also be used as boarders for gardens, foot paths, dog kennels, or playgrounds. Sizes include:
3/8" Pea Gravel
7/8" Drain Rock
1 1/2" Drain Rock
Our Washed Builders Sand has many uses from making concrete to making children's sand boxes.
